Common questions

Is Worklo really free to self-host?
Yes. The Community plan is MIT licensed — you can self-host Worklo for free with no restrictions. You only pay for your own hosting infrastructure (a $5–20/month VPS is typically sufficient for small teams).
How many users can I have?
All plans support unlimited users. We don't charge per seat. Worklo was built for teams of 5–50, but there's no hard limit.
What's included in the Managed plan?
We handle hosting, updates, backups, and monitoring. You get a custom domain, priority support, and never have to worry about infrastructure. It's Worklo without the DevOps.
Can I migrate from self-hosted to Managed?
Yes. We provide migration assistance to move your data from a self-hosted instance to our managed infrastructure with zero downtime.
What database does Worklo use?
Worklo uses Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security. You can run it locally via Docker or connect to a hosted Supabase project.
Do you offer a trial for the Managed plan?
Yes — reach out via the contact page and we'll set up a 14-day trial of the Managed plan at no cost.
